F.A.Q.
What is Chasing Rainbows? Chasing Rainbows is a split profit/charity Yuri!!! On Ice fanzine consisting of fanart, fanfiction, cosplaying, and merchandise revolving around the theme of colors.
What are the zine specifications? The zine's dimensions will be A5 and 300 DPI. Our color model used will be CMYK!
What charity do you plan to donate to? We will donate half of our finances to Visual AIDS.
How many contributors will be accepted? This will depend on how many applicants we receive. We're aiming for 20 artists, 5 writers, 5 cosplayers, and 5 merch artists.
How old do you have to be to apply? Because this zine is split profit/charity, you have to be 18+ to apply.
How will contributors be compensated? They will receive financial compensation and our goal is to at least compensate them with a free copy of the zine. Giving back to our contributors is our main priority. In the case that we do not reach our breakeven, they will be given the opportunity to purchase the zine at production cost.
Will romantic ships be included? Yes, however, we will not allow for one ship to take over the zine. The main purpose of this zine is to express creativity throughout colors.
Will guests be invited to create for the zine? No; all contributors in the zine will be accepted through applications.
How will moderators communicate with the contributors? We require our contributors to create a Discord account to join the server and regularly check it for announcements and deadlines.
